Circuit-breaker deals in April

30th April 2020

The first weekend of April marked the launch of Kopar at Newton, where 77 units were sold at an average price of $2,350 psf. Other developers also used those first few days of April to push sales of their projects before the “circuit breaker” slammed the door on all sales and marketing activity, while sales galleries had to close from April 7.

EC site at Yishun Avenue 9 launched for sale

HDB has released an executive condominium (EC) site at Yishun Avenue 9 for sale by public tender. The 231,575 sq ft site is under the Confirmed List of the 1H2020 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

Amended Estate Agents Act enables CEA to discipline minor breaches without disciplinary committee hearing

The government has amended the Estate Agents Act (EEA) to allow the Council for Estate Agents (CEA), the governing body for this sector, to take timely disciplinary actions against errant estate agents and real estate salespersons.
